The POS sends information to GL, Payroll works with Timecard software and updates GL, Accounts Payable shares the vendor files used for Inventory control and in turn updates to GL. Balance Sheets and Profit and Loss statements can easily be generated.

The Accounts Payable system allows posting of vendor invoices and printing of checks. Recurring payments allow for the automatic payment of rents, leases or other fixed periodic payments. Cash requirement reports and vendor aging analysis are helpful in controlling your cash.

The system compiles vendor information such as year-to-date purchases, discounts earned vs. lost, average days to pay, and 1099 total. All purchases and disbursements automatically post to the general ledger.

Payroll

BMS Payroll module added to your Wave by BMS software gives you the ability to manage your payroll in-house, vs paying a separate outside company.

The BMS Payroll package is robust in its ability and features. Pay by Company, Division, and or by Department. Employees can be set up to be paid Hourly or by Salary and can be paid Daily, Weekly, Bi-Weekly, Semi-Monthly, or Monthly cycles.

General Ledger

All modules flow to the general ledger. Each time you generate a bill, post an expense, write a check, or complete a payroll transaction, you generate postings to the general ledger. General journal postings allow for adjustments.

All journals must be in balance before they will post to the general ledger, assuring you that you’re always in balance. You can format financial statements, choosing from a wide array of options: year-to-date, last year-this-month, last year-to-date, actual vs. budgets, etc. Multiple periods can be posted without closing the previous month or year.

Time Card

BMS Timecard software added to the BMS Payroll, does a lot more than just track employees’ time; it can also help to boost workplace satisfaction, ensure accuracy, and improve efficiency.

BMS Payroll module added to your Wave by BMS software gives you the ability to manage your payroll in-house, vs paying a separate outside company.

They Payroll software can pay and track available sick/vacation hours, by Job Class, handle multiple taxed &/or pre-taxed deductions as well as Federal, State and Local Taxes. Detailed and Summary Reports can be run by paycycle, Monthly, QTD and/or YTD. Information is easily generated for completing Federal and State Quarterly and Yearly Tax forms. The BMS Payroll system automatically generates the necessary journal entry for General Ledger, or provides a report if using external General Ledger

Time Card

BMS Timecard software added to the BMS Payroll, does a lot more than just track employees’ time; it can also help to boost workplace satisfaction, ensure accuracy, and improve efficiency.

Employees clock in and out on the actual workstations instead of a backroom timeclock machine, and requiring Personal Login information deters the temptation of Buddy Punching which leads to honest recording. Detailed Reports can be run by Employee, by date range and total time worked is then entered into the corresponding Pay Cycle.

Recording of actual time worked can save money by promoting accuracy; leading to improved accountability in the workplace.

Feed and Seed Management

Feed and Seed/fertilizer-Job orders can be easily entered and tracked. Feed formulas can be established by kitting and utilizing our single level BOM. Bulk feed formulas can be store custom for individual customers or for your store blends and easily manipulated by quantity.

For example, the formula for your horse feed can be selected as a kit and all components can be calculated based on the volume for the kit. 1.5 kits will automatically provide 1.5 of each component- no tricky calculations to make- Wave by BMS does it for you. You can even program in waste.

For goods you bag, establish the materials used and for each bag produced it will reduce each component accordingly. There are an unlimited number of kits you can establish and also an unlimited number of formulas for “BOM” or bill of materials.

Customer’s detailed purchases can be tracked and reported for any selected time interval, including every item the customer has purchased for the year.

Customer orders can be tracked and managed so they don’t get forgotten or lost in the shuffle.

All transactions affecting inventory quantities are recorded on an audit trail report for analysis or problem tracking. The inventory system includes ranking reports to quickly identify high profit items and high carrying cost items helping you eliminate dead stock. Items can be accessed by item number, UPC, a part of the description, manufacturers item number, or alphabetically. Product categories can be assigned to each item for additional analysis. The system tracks the sales history or purchase history for each item for two years.

Each customer file tracks charges, payments, and keeps a running 30, 60, and 90 day history. This provides you with the information you need to follow up on delinquent accounts- and unlock your accounts receivable dollars. The system gives you complete flexibility for discounting, pricing and taxing for each account. The Wave by BMS Accounts Receivable module also allows you to print and mail hundreds of statements in minutes- or email the statements including copies of invoices 1,2, or 4 invoices per page, delivering unmatched speed and efficiency.

The Wave by BMS Accounts Receivable module is a concise application for tracking invoices, payments, credits, and adjustments that is passed instantaneously from the Point of Sale module. This Open Item or Balance Forward accounts receivable module is capable of running stand alone or interfaced to the general ledger. Detailed information is maintained for each customer’s purchases and allows the generation of customer statements at any time throughout the month. Aged invoice reports and A/R transaction listing are among the several detailed reports that are part of the standard Wave by BMS system. The A/R “Sub Account” feature allows a customer to keep track of multiple jobs by receiving a consolidated statement followed by each individual job statement and their invoices.

With customer notes, it allows for multiple signatures to an A/R account. With Wave by BMS a signed image of each invoice automatically prints with each customer’s statement. These invoices can print as many as four to a page or a separate invoice on each page, selected by customer.

Invoices can be emailed or reprinted with a single keystroke from the customer’s History tab. All your customer’s payment application history is available indefinitely.

Wave by BMS allows you to “Easy Pay” by applying the payments and credits to the oldest invoices first until used up, or select which payments and credits apply to which invoices, you can select a single credit memo and leave the new ones to appear on the customer’s statement.
