Business Management Systems, Inc. supplies turn-key computer systems to hardware stores, lumber yards / home centers, plumbing and electrical supply houses and feed stores- any retail business or company with unusually high item counts.
Providing excellent products and services for
Since October 1988, We’re proud to have
Wave by BMS offers state-of-the-art computer systems with our software (written with the latest windows.NET language) and all necessary services to automate every facet of your store’s business, from the cash register at the front counter to the financial statements at the end of the month.
BMS is a ‘SINGLE SOURCE’ responsibility company.
Additionally, the BMS software was developed from a detailed, industry-specific design. Then, it was finetuned for installations ranging from single POS stores (as small as $140,000 annually) to stores with multiple locations (over $50,000,000 annually!) We can offer anything you need, from “software only” to installation and complete training, including on-site training and even physical inventory services!
The fundamental strategy behind the BMS company philosophy is creating a team approach to installing the system so your store is up, running, and productive in the shortest possible time!
Importantly, Mark Adams started BMS in 1984. Before that, he worked as a data processing consultant and programmer specializing in industries with unusual inventory requirements. One such client is The Home Depot, for which Mark wrote the inventory control programs when it was just a startup company of two stores! Concentrating on the needs of the Building Material Dealer and the consequent solutions for their needs, he has acquired expertise in this area as extensive as any in the computer industry. Mark, to this day, is President and CEO of Business Management Systems.
With nearly 40 years of experience, BMS has a firm foundation to provide a complete system and support package that is second to none!
To summarize, BMS installed the first retail point-of-sale system in October 1988. Now, the Business Management System is installed and used coast to coast, even in several foreign countries!
To this day, BMS continues the strong traditions on which it was built!
